Who We Are

My team and I have been advising sellers, buyers, developers and investors in in the New York real estate market since 2002. I began making my own multifamily investments in 2007 and began building and developing personal projects in 2015. Skilled at working with both individuals and developers throughout north Brooklyn and downtown Manhattan, my knowledge, experience, and thorough hands-on service help any project succeed. After joining forces with Lior Barak in 2006, the Barak/Blackburn Team has been consistently ranked among the top sales team in the city, numerous years being recognized as among the top 25 sales teams in the city and top 100 teams in the nation by the Wall Street Journal.

An experienced landlord and investor, I also own and manage a number multi-family and mixed-use properties in North Brooklyn. My experience owning, building, and renovating properties allows me to bring a keen, discerning eye to my clients’ projects. With their best interests in mind, I carefully consider every investment my clients make as though they were my own. My knowledge of what buyers desire in layouts and finishes give my clients a distinct advantage, enabling them to create the right product for their local market, whether it's a 70- or a luxury Townhouse renovation.

Upon moving to NYC, I was an early pioneer in Williamsburg, residing and investing in the neighborhood since 2000. Since then, I have sold over 1.5B in Real Estate throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan- including land sales, warehouse conversions, condos, coops, new developments, and townhouses. My particular area of expertise is North Brooklyn and Brownstone Brooklyn- from Park Slope, Gowanus and neighborhoods around Prospect Park to Williamsburg and Greenpoint- and everywhere in between.

I currently live in Fort Greene, Brooklyn with my husband, Rafael, who is an antique conservator, my two sons, and our Australian Labradoodle, Bailey.
